OUR CHURCH AT A GLANCE

“He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus” (Phil 1:6). Emmanuel Pentecostal Church was begun as per the vision the Lord gave to Rev. Mathew Oommen during one of his fasting and prayer days in November 1994. In the beginning, the only members were Pastor and his family. As weeks went by, the Lord added more people to the church.

The fellowship was registered with the Secretary of the State of Texas in January of 1995 as Emmanuel Pentecostal Church of Houston. EPC is now affiliated with the Indian Pentecostal Church of God, Kumbanadu, Kerala, India. After worshiping the Lord in rented buildings for almost 10 years, the Lord helped the church to buy the current property in June 2003. In 2006, Rev. Shaji Daniel was appointed by the Lord as the new pastor of the church. In 2009, a new church building was constructed to worship the Almighty God. The Lord is using Rev. Daniel for the numeric and spiritual growth of the Church. We have more than 200 members worshiping with us every week. We serve God with gratitude and joy for His mighty works throughout the years.
